Quality control of coating work

Telatek Quality uses advanced, high standard quality control methods for monitoring the quality of coatings. There are several methods available, and these are applied according to the client’s needs.

Visual inspection and thickness measurement are the most frequently used – and the most important – methods in controlling the quality of coatings,
but several other methods may also be applied where necessary. Quality control requires skill and precision from inspection staff, and our employees have been specially trained in quality control for steel structure coatings. Our inspectors are also qualified to NS and FROSIO standards. These qualifications enable us to provide quality control services for all fields and products.

Accurate documentation is an essential part of every inspection.

We provide quality control services for new products and for existing sites. Most of our work is done at installation sites, workshops or dockyards. A wide range of mobile equipment enables us to minimise client operation downtime caused by our work. Quality control of corrosion coatings covers both thermal coatings and anti-corrosion paints.
